HEALTHY EATING WEEK

Last week, we celebrated Healthy Eating Week in the school.  There was a variety of events organised in the school to highlight the importance of healthy eating.  Breakfast club took place every morning and there was a sugar content display in the assembly area, which showed the amount of sugar present in everyday foods.  A student council representative spoke at each of the assemblies during the week and a food facts competition also took place.  Many thanks to the Home Economics department for organising the week.

TY PARENT-TEACHER-STUDENT MEETING

Many thanks to the parents, guardians and students who attended last week’s parent-teacher-student meeting. Transition Year is an important year in the overall development of each student, and allows our students to explore new subjects, and work individually and as part of different teams on projects and competitions. We look forward to Exhibition Night at the end of the school year when students showcase their year’s work.
