SCHOOL TOUR TO PARIS

The Second year school tour to Paris is fast approaching.  The students will be going on a city tour, taking in many historic Parisian sights including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees.  Other outings will include a boat trip on the river Seine and of course the highlight of the trip, a day at Euro Disney! Many thanks to Mr Halpin, the extra-curricular coordinator, Mr Farrell, Second year head, and the Second year tutor team, for their work in preparing for this trip.

CREDIT UNION

The school Credit Union is open for business every Friday at lunchtime.  This is a great opportunity for students to become regular savers.  Many thanks to the Transition Year students and Ms Donnelly who facilitate this.

JUNIOR CERTIFICATE ORALS

Well done to the third year students who recently completed their oral examination in Irish and French for the Junior Certificate.  The Irish oral accounts for 40% of the overall mark, with the French oral worth 20%.

LEAVING CERTIFICATE IRISH ORALS

Go n-éirí libh!  Best wishes to the sixth year students who will be sitting their Leaving Certificate Irish orals next week.  The exam is worth 40% of the overall mark and students have put in lots of effort in preparation for this.
