SCIFEST@ SCHOOL 2016

This year over 200 students from first and second year exhibited almost 100 projects in the Coláiste Chraobh Abhann SciFest@School science fair last Friday.  Projects on display included “The potential use as gorse as a biofuel”, “Plaster Masters”, “Can a lightsabre work?”, “Does the price of football boots affect performance?” and “Do darts fly differently with different equipment?”.  Teachers have been working hard with students over the last term to help them to design, carry out and analyse their investigations.  Many thanks to the judges who offered their time to come in and judge the students’ work.  Winners of scifest@school will be put forward to scifest@college in Tallaght IT later in the year.
