6th YEAR GRADUATION EVENING

Last Thursday evening, 21st May, our Sixth year students bid an emotional farewell to Coláiste Chraobh Abhann at their final graduation ceremony. There were speeches from our head boy, Kyle Flynn and head girl, Emma Kavanagh, as well as Mr Hughes the 6th Year Head and Mr Eivers and Ms Buckley.  A beautiful series of songs were sung by the Transition year choir and 6th year students.  Mr Hughes gave the ‘Rogha na Bliana’ award to the most outstanding boy and girl of the year, along with other prizes.  Staff, parents and local clergy were in attendance and it was a very memorable evening. Many thanks to Ms Madden, Ms Armstrong and many other members of staff who helped students prepare for this important part of their final year.
