2nd December 2016

The Music Department is in full swing now that the Festive Season is upon us!  On December 13th they will join forces with Kilcoole Primary School for the annual Carol Service at 7.30pm in Kilcoole Church.  The annual Carol Service takes place in the school on December 9th.  There will be carol singing for the whole school at break time on December 13th.  The TY students will also visit the local nursing home to help spread some festive cheer.   Their final event will be a trip on the Luas for their seasonal “Ukulele Hooley”!  Many thanks to Ms Armstrong and to all students involved in preparing for these most enjoyable Christmas events.

Well done to the U15 Boys Soccer team who won their match last week against St. Brendan’s Bray on a scoreline of 3-1.  The goals came from Blake Ryan, Jack Elliott and Reece Scott.  Man of the match on the day was Jack Elliott.  Best of luck to the team who are now through to play Coláiste Bhríde Carnew in the semi-final of the Wicklow/Wexford league.

Sixth year students conducted their Geographical Investigation in Kippure on Monday last as part of their Leaving Certificate programme.  This investigation accounts for 20% of the final exam mark.

We wish the best of luck to our students in their annual Christmas house exams.  Students and teachers, supported by parents, have worked very hard this term.
