On Wednesday, a woman called Allison, came in to talk to us about the conspiracy theories around John F. Kennedy assassination.
She explained how the timeline of the crime doesn't add up. the timeline starts with JFK being shot at 12:30. Within 20 minutes Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested with the charge of JFK's assassination. There are many reasons to believe the Oswald was framed for the crime by the government.
For example, the gun that was used to kill JFK was a pistol. They know this as be the shells from the bullet were found on the ground. Oddly enough Oswald only owned a revolver. Revolvers keep their shell cases inside the gun when fired. Oswald was found with nitrates (gun powder) on his hands. But there are ways to get nitrates on your hands without firing a gun. False positives include Tabaco, urine and cosmetics.
JFK's autopsy also caused suspicion. JFK was told to be shot through the back of his head while in a car. The only other person in the car was the driver, who was also shot by the same bullet. This bullet would have to have travelled through the car window, through JFK's skull, then to the pass through the drivers seat, finally into the chest of the driver. The problem was when Warren Commission (the doctor preforming the autopsy) weighed JFK's brain it didn't match up. An average brain weights 1300grams. JFK's brain weighed 1500grams. This could make sense if the bullet was still lodged in his skull, but the bullet was found in the drivers chest. Some people speculate that someone swapped JFK's brain with someone else or that WC lied on the autopsy reports.
Why would someone want JFK dead? Some like to believe what the government told them, Lee Harvey Oswald killed him. Others think it was LBJ (Vice President at the time). It’s still to this day a mystery.
