Senior Boys Football
Well done to our Senior Footballers who had a fine win over CCM on Thursday on a scoreline of 5-09 to 0-01. It was a great all round performance from all our players with special mention to Sean Byrne, Ryan Harrison and Joe Heatley
Enterprise Week
This week we celebrated Enterprise Week in CCA where we had a number of activities planned. 1st and 4th Year students are currently in the middle of their mini company journey, 1st years and all TY students took part in their annual Christmas Market where they were given the chance to sell their products to members of the school community. Well done to all who were involved in the jampacked week.
U19 Boys Basketball
Well done to our U19 Boys Basketball team on an excellent win in the East Leinster Semi-Final against a very strong Gaelcholaiste An Phiarsaigh in UCD today.
The game was end to end throughout, seeing us down by 4 in the dying seconds. A Seamus DArcy basket helped us to close the gap and an outstanding basket from Conor O’Mahoney on the buzzer, seen the game go to overtime. We were trailing again with seconds remaining in overtime when Aharon Smith, scored another late basket to take the game to a second overtime. Seamus DArcy was superb in the final 3 minutes, with a game winning block and the final basket of the game to see us get the victory on a score line of 39-37.
The lads will play the East Leinster Final next Thursday 7th of December in Oblate Hall, Inchicore. Well done to the whole squad on an excellent win.
Senior Girls Soccer
Congratulations to our senior girls soccer team who had a fantastic victory over CCM today. An excellent team performance, with goals from Keelin Dodd (4), Yasmin Bishop (2) Charlotte Pelz Olufade (1) and a debut goal for Bella Arnold (1) seen us get the impressive win.
There were standout performances throughout the whole panel with a special mention to Hannah Cullen in goal and Arabelle McCann in midfield. Well done girls on an excellent display.
