Plans are well underway for Showstoppers 2023! We are thrilled to announce that the live show will take place on Wednesday, 15th March at 7pm. Stay tuned for ticket announcements next month. Auditions for our talent show take place the week of the 23rd of January and we are looking forward to seeing the amazing talent our school community has to offer. If last year is anything to go by, we are in for a treat!
U19 Boys Badminton Team
Hard luck to the U19 Boys Badminton Team in the Dublin District Finals in Whitehall Badminton Centre on Tuesday. Having soared through the group, quarter final and semi-final stages, they lost out 4-2 in a very tight final to a strong Sandford Park team and took second place. Well done on a great season lads, we are very proud of you all!
Spanish Club
We were chosen to be the Language Promoting Prefects this year, so we wanted to create a club to get the Junior Students involved and enthusiastic about languages as a part of our role. In Club Español on Mondays, we love giving students the chance to practice their language skills, both orally and written. We play games and set challenges to help everyone expand their vocabulary and work on any aspects they struggle with. We’ve been loving it so far and it’s great to see the students enjoying it just as much as we are! - Report by Abbie Wills and Alex Adderley O’Brien (6th Year).

Well done to Sadhbh Furlong, TY, who has been selected for the Leinster U18 Squad for the upcoming spring interprovincial games in February. A fantastic achievement!!
Past Pupils
Last Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome back four of our past pupils for a Q&A session with our current 5th and 6th Year groups. Lucy Toomey, Emily Little, Jeremiah Scott and Evan Cooke very kindly took time out of their own 3rd level studies to share their insight and words of advice with our Leaving Certificate students. It was a hugely beneficial experience for all! We look forward to more visits from our CCA alumni over the coming months.

A very special Friday evening for Coláiste Chraobh Abhann as Grace, Aisling and Ava were awarded a display award at this years BT Young Scientists for their project ‘Sustainable Forest Fire Prevention’. Congratulations!
First Year Information Night
We were delighted to welcome our incoming 1st Year Students and their Parents/Guardians to our information evening as we begin our comprehensive induction programme. Our focus tonight was on subject choice and our 1:1 digital programme.
