CCA OPEN NIGHT 2019
There was a fantastic turnout for Coláiste Chraobh Abhann’s Open Night 2019, which took place last Thursday, 19 September.
Open Night is one of the highlights in our school calendar year, with staff and students showcasing what CCA has to offer, with presentations, live performance, guided tours and classroom-based demonstrations.
The music students entertained our visitors in the GP Area, healthy snacks were available in the Home Economics room and the Prefect Team, Student Council and Head Boy and Head Girl all welcomed our guests on arrival.
As our visitors toured the building, the wide variety of subject choices and extra-curricular options were showcased in every classroom, where teachers discussed their subject’s requirements while students demonstrated the numerous activities on show.
It was lovely to meet prospective students who we hope will join us in the coming years, and we were especially delighted to see past students return to say hello. This special night helps to maintain the strong bond we have with all our students; be it past, present or future.
Thanks to all staff, students, parents and volunteers who supported in the organisation and running of this event, giving our visitors a snapshot of what makes Coláiste Chraobh Abhann a school that nurtures an excellent learning environment where mutual respect prevails.
