A number of TY student took part in an online cookery evening this month with chef Vanessa Greenwood. The students accessed this course on zoom where Vanessa showed them how to make each dish step by step using basic kitchen equipment. The students learned how to make beef burgers and a strawberry meringue roulade. They focused on the key culinary skills needed in making these dishes which they can apply to other dishes. Vanessa also spoke about her career to date and what is involved in running her own cookery school which she set up over 15 years ago.
